The lawsuit by the Allens will continue in the courts but they've given up their right to sue for damages in exchange for the re-vote. I'm very proud of the residents of Frankfort for showing up in record numbers and telling big wind to blow it out .. well you know where... The town was sued and now those who put the suit in motion have 'offered' to drop their lawsuit against the town if the town will vote again on the wind power issue. Everyone had jobs and were working overtime before NAFTA. Our only problem was inflation which NAFTA was suposed to cure. I could afford the walemart american made T shirt before NAFTA, now I cant afford the cheap china made T shirt after NAFTA. All our jobs are in china now!! The only people nafta has helped are the owners of and top corporation board members. It has hurt the other 300million americans who used to work for them. Get rid of NAFTA and the American economy will shoot up overnight. NAFTA is the 800lb gorilla in the room no one talks about. WHY? Our Government says "we need to help the third world nations and nafta is the way to do it. IF thier economies go up, thier nations citizens will have a need for our products and balance out the worlds economy." Well its been 17 years of NAFTA now and the world is in the dumper and still falling. The economic line from 17 years ago when NAFTA went into effect takes a straight down hill plung to present day and is still plunging. Our government put NAFTA into effect with no check and balance of how it would work. It was like taking a barrel full of gears and dumping it into a mchine and crossing your fingers hoping it would somehow cause a marical to happen. Why couldnt they do a 10 year study on a small basis? Besides the most obvious problems what about the effect they hoped would happen? Why would a person in China, now working to make American import products, working for an American compnay who gets tax break incentives to operate in china, buy an american made product from a company based in America with American workers, when he can buy it right in his own country???? NAFTA is based on a failed way of thinking and its main reason to lower inflation and raise imports "FROM" America is now reversed and inflation is also back on the rise too. Others like you have tracked down or hunted for a mate in ones later life. I as a hunter of many things was lucky to find mine while still a teenager. We tied our knot nearly 51 years ago and I have no regrets to date. I wish you my friend the same good fortune in your hunt that I had those many long years ago.
