It’s been a long wait, but my first book, ‘Words On The Wind,’ is finally here. For those who have sent payment, I will begin mailing on Monday. For those who have not sent payment, it’s not too late. This is a limited edition of 200 copies, each one hand numbered and signed. Price is $12 each, which includes shipping to anywhere in the world. If you would like your copy personalized, just tell me who to make it out to.
Words On The Wind is a compilation of some of the poetry and prose that I have posted to this Blog, along with some wonderful photos, contributed by fellow Wind Warriors.
In addition, there are also three never before released pieces in the book;
‘Pedigree And Promise Of A Mountain Man’ was written several years ago while I was living in a camp on Fletcher Mountain, with no electricity or running water. One night as I sat by the glow of the oil lamp and contemplated the boasts and stories of the old time Mountain Men, I was inspired to write this piece.
‘The Death Of A Mountain’ is a short story that was written in that same little cabin, long before I was involved in the fight against Big Wind.
‘The Developers Song,’ on the inside back cover, was written specifically for this book.
There is also an introduction in the form of, ‘A Note From The Author,’ as well as an opening chapter entitled, ‘How I got Here,’ which briefly lays out my progression from someone who once believed that Big Wind was a good thing, to someone who is now doing his best to stop this destructive scam.
At the end, there is an Epilogue, just to round things out.
Words On The Wind has been a labor of love, and I hope you enjoy reading it.

The check is in the mail. Thanks for all that you folks, over on the other side of the river, have done. You have so much energy…
I was at one time, for wind power. Thanks to all of you , I see the distruction that this state will never recover from with the construction of the wind farms.
Thanks again,
Rick H.
Thanks guys. I’ve got you all on the list, and books will be on their way.

Please save one for me, will mail check and info. I started the opposition in Roxbury with Tony. We held them off a couple of years, but are beseiged by the construction this summer. Our voices were squashed in every kangaroo court. Trying to find joy daily, hope your book soothes the soul.
I’ve put you on the list, Linda.
Thanks for all that you are doing over there. Just sorry to hear that the destruction is under way………..
Don’t give up hope. Maine isn’t lost yet!
