On Wednesday, November 24, at 6:00 p.m., we will be holding a screening of Freemont Tibbetts’ aerial films of the Western Maine Mountains [complete with narration from Mr. Tibbetts himself] at the Quimby Middle School, in Bingham. Please come join us for an evening of entertainment and information.
Mr. Tibbetts, at his own expense, has made two flights over the Mountains of Western Maine, videoing both current Wind Developments, as well as areas slated for future development. He has agreed to share those films with us, in hopes of raising awareness among Mainer’s as to what Industrial Wind Development really means for our Mountains.
We will also be holding an open forum/question and answer session. This will be an opportunity for everyone to speak and ask questions. Besides myself and Mr. Tibbetts, there will be several other folks attending who have a wealth of knowledge about Mountain Top Industrial Wind, and we hope to have a lively and informative evening.
Admission is free, all are welcome, and refreshments will be served.
If you don’t have plans for the evening before Thanksgiving, please, load up the family and friends and join us for a night of films and information in Bingham.
Hope to see you all there.
